LibraryDAMS™ is a Digital Asset Management System for libraries. Built with Islandora and Drupal, LibraryDAMS gives librarians a friendly interface to manage digital collections of images, documents, audio files, and more for visitors from around the world.
The basic LibraryDAMS package includes:
- Support for many common digital objects types, including images, PDFs, audio files, newspapers, and more
- Support for an unlimited number of collections
- Easy data entry forms for MODS metadata
- OCR support for creating searchable full-text content of scanned documents
- Elegant image viewer with zoom
- Human-readable metadata display
- Quick toggle to XML view of MODS and/or DC metadata
- OAI-PMH compliance for record harvesting
- Simple dashboard for managing inactive records
- The full Drupal toolset for managing menus and other site content
The basic LibraryDAMS package starts at $5,990. When you sign up for LibraryDAMS, we will:
- Install LibraryDAMS
- Provide up to 3 hours of webinar-based training
- Provide simple theme changes including:
- Logos
- Fonts
- Color scheme
- Answer questions via support@chillco.com(link sends e-mail) or through our support ticketing system until the public launch of the site
- Provide LibraryDAMS fully managed hosting for one year, beginning at the start of your project
LibraryDAMS Fully Managed Hosting, starting at $2,490/yr per site (at current rate) includes:
- Hosting on Cherry Hill’s servers
- 100GB storage for Islandora assets (TIFFs, JPGs, etc.)
- Daily backups of the production sites stored for up to one month
- Weekly code and temporal file backups of the production sites stored for up to 5 weeks
- Continuous Integration — Push-button site code deployment and rollback (CI)
- Server maintenance
- Regular server and site security updates
