Since 1991, Peter has worked in a variety of library environments ranging from medium- and large-sized academic institutions, a professional graduate school, and two regional library consortia. He is active in the standards world, with participation on the W3C Library Linked Data incubator group as well as NISO committees (Discovery to Delivery Topic Committee, Publications Committee, and NISO/OAI ResourceSync Protocol Working Group). Peter blogs at the Disruptive Library Technology Jester (dltj.org).
In technology circles, Peter follows trends in internet security and privacy as well as practices that work in open source communities and those that don't. Outside of technology circles, he lives the suburban life of lawn mowing, reading historical fiction and science fiction, and raising two children.
